Part syrupy electro, sticky stadium pop and rich psychedelic RnB. their music evokes musical mavericks such as Black Eyed Peas, NERD and OutKast, without letting the listener pigeon hole their sounds. The three members of Chocolate Doll may not seem the most obvious formula for a band, but then Chocolate Doll are no ordinary group.
The group comprises of lead singer Nay-Nay, fashion conscious and fun loving, this critically lauded singer/songwriter has already enjoyed success with her debut feature smash single Bodygroove which went on to sell 500,000 copies. The vivacious diva was hand picked by Puma to model their limited edition sportswear range in a nationwide campaign thanks to her covergirl looks. She brings sass and seduction to this eclectic mix of artists.
DJ S.O.Beats - There seems to be no end to this heavily sought after multi-talented DJ/Producer/Songwriter who has been personally requested around the globe to spin for many high profile celebrities such as The Beckhams, Diddy, Kate Moss, Lewis Hamilton & Russell Crowe. Perfecting his production & Writing skills in the U.S has enabled his understanding of how to execute a hit record while his ability to merge sounds from different genres gives his production a distinctive and unique quality synonymous to his mischievous personality.
DJ Bluey - Apart from being a big hit with the ladies, is also an internationally renowned DJ, who brings energy, charisma & personality to the group. Having already made a name for himself in the world of film, Junior turned his hand to music production and honed his skills remixing material for numerous acts such as Duffy, Fundamental & Wiley alongside DJ S.O.Beats. He is fast becoming one of the most sought after actors on the circuit and has recently been chosen to star in Director Noel Clarke's newest blockbuster production "The Knot".
